Did anyone else think that Henry Winkler (Fonzie) appeared to be a genuine nice guy? Unlike most American stars that come to these shores to promote their latest show, book, film, album or whatever.

Whenever I've seen or read interviews with Henry, I've got that impression. I've never heard one single bad thing about him. I don't know whether he still does, but back in his Fonz days he was known for always addressing people as 'sir' or 'ma'am'.
I saw him on GMTV with Lorraine Kelly.
I thought exactly the same. He came across as a really nice bloke.Later when they did a link to a reporter in America about something else, at the end of the feature the reporter made a point of saying the Henry Winkler was one of the most genuine and likeable people they had ever met!
