i seem to recall that a contestant on this show turned out to be the guy who was later found guilty of the pembrokeshire path murders in the 1980,s . I think the police used the programme to prove his looks at the time

Yes, he was the Pembrokeshire Path Murderer.  Bullseye was featured in the TV series about the murders

The thing i remember most about Bullseye was just how naff the 1st series was and how close the show came to being pulled. Changes were made for the 2nd series and the rest, as they say, is history.

TBH I quite enjoyed watching it. The prizes though - even the star pizes - are cringeingly awful by today's reckoning.
