I liked the Vicar of Dibley but if I watch comedy I don’t want to be reminded of Covid, BLM, the ridiculous 'woke' ritual of 'Taking the Knee', or any of the other rubbish we’ve had to endure throughout this awful year. I want to be entertained - so I won’t be watching.

Me too Bobbi. As a caucasian I am feeling rather left out by TV programs and adverts.

It's the constant ramming it down our throats Apc, I believe this to be having an opposite effect rather than the desired one
I'm with you Bobbisox1.
It's not a show I watch but it's almost inevitable that the events of this year will find their way into programmes be they dramas or comedy.
Me too my love......I am more of a racist now than I was 6 months ago and am sick and tired of the "knee" before sporting events.
Enough is enough for me.

Mamya I don't mind seeing something regarding the pandemic like social distancing etc but I do not want to watch a 'sermon' about George Floyd in what was a good show , BLM should not be a part of it in my opinion
It's everyone's choice what they want to pick from the years events and the writers have chosen a few - we'll never like everything.

Exactly, if you like it and I don't, well that's your prerogative
Bothersome Leftist Mindlessness. Goodbye Dawn.

I thought it was just her ex that bleated on about BLM , seems not
Does she 'take the knee'?
I don't think there will be many Millwall fans tuning in
She's playing a character.
gawd elp us!
No didn't they boo the players who took the knee

Mmm, wonder if Vicars up and down the land are doing it , I doubt it ( character or not)
Fed up with having it thrown at me ,but before it's said, I've a remote control :0)
Having been married to Lenny Henry for a number of years, she, at the very least, is in a position to actually understand what it is she is preaching about (pun intended). Unlike some who preach from another person's viewpoint. I'll most likely watch it/record it/catch up with it and make my mind up afterwards.
i might just give it a miss.

And that of course is your choice Ken
I'm the same, as soon as I saw her subject matter I knew I wouldn't bother. Shame, that programme was so non-political.
