So I'm just gonna simplify this as a easy as I can I just finished an exam and we were given two sheets the question booklet and the answer booklet so I finished it all happy with what I did put the multiple choice questions on the front page of the answer booklet where so I thought they were meant to go.

After leaving the exam this is also stupid on my behalf someone mentioned circling the multiple choice on the question booklet and not the answer booklet. So now I'm stressing out that I just lost half my marks cause of this I spoke to both the teacher and the coordinator who said it should be fine but I'm still freaking the *** out and would be so annoyed if I have to resit because it was in the wrong spot when I put them on the answer sheet.

Tldr; put multiple choice in answer booklet when they were meant to be circled on the question sheet

If they said it would be fine, why would you not believe them ? I'd expect folk to look for missing things and find them.

Yes, English Language GCSE which we all took in the old fourth year (year 10, age 14/15). There were always 4 questions- a story/descriptive writing, a comprehension, a letter and something else (I've forgotten now). Anyway, friend never turned to back page so only did 3.

I once turned up to do a professional exam and realised it was the old syllabus whereas all my studying had been done based on the materials for the new very different syllabus. Fortunately I still scraped through but lost a lot of sleep and had a dispute with the course provider.
Any teachers here will know how frustrating it is that at least 10% of pupils will fail to put their name on the exam paper for internal exams even though there is a big space for it and they are given reminders at regular intervals.

Oh and in Maths GCSE there used to be a formula page which included a picture of a trapezium with the area formula and a picture of a prism with the volume formula. I lost count of the number of students who wasted ages trying to answer those
