Help Humax Box

I have lost the sound on the humax box. I can get it back by switching source back to tv but cannot record that way. Lost it last night as well as the picture having strange green overtones. Got rid of the green but don't know what to do about the missing sound.
Can anyone help please.

It sounds like a cable problem - the one connecting the Humax to the TV. Try re-connecting both ends; if that fails try a different cable.

Is your Humax Box connected by HDMI cable ?
Try a Scart socket instead, just to see what happens...

Re inserted the scary cable and back to normal now. Thanks for advice.

Assuming by scary cable you mean SCART (easy typo) - SCART cables are notorious for problems like yours since they are easily disturbed and then not all the pins make proper contact. HDMI cables are much more reliable - if your Humax and the TV both have HDMI connectors I'd recommend you change (no need for an expensive HDMI, any will do).

I don't know if we have HDMI or not. Will get OH to look into that.
