Just finished watching it in it's entirely. It has taken me many months. And now I can see the whole thing for what it is: Genius.

What an extraordinary experience. The story, the characters, the acting, the cinematography, the 'feel' of the whole piece... wow. Just wow.

I've been saying for years that I didn't think that I'd ever watch anything as good as "Band Of Brothers", but I have now and it's "Breaking Bad".

I feel slightly depressed that it's over. I want more of Walter White...

I loved it too. I watched the whole lot in a few weeks :-)

Have you seen Orange Is The New Black?
I watched the first episode and didn't think too much of it. I think I might try it again as it's been raved about so much.
Meanwhile, have you seen Dexter? I loved that series as much as you loved BB. Not similar really, but still something to get into.
Fabulous - we were sorry too when it finished - so many loose ends! Where was to the stash of money Todds family pinched - did the rich folks ever give the money to Flynn (young Walter) What happened to Skylar etc.?
Did you watch "Better call Saul"? just as good.
You might be one of the few who didn't 'get it' Jo, my husband's the other one!

I watched it and absolutely loved it and I nagged and nagged Mr Boo to watch it and he did, first couple of episodes and said "meh, not for me!" I was stunned.

Agree with ummmm, Orange is the New Black- another cracker. PS ummmm, you also got a crush on Stella?
Having heard it mentioned so much, I decided to buy the boxed set. When I told my wife she asked what it was about and I replied, " for what little I know, it seems to be about a chemistry teacher who starts to make Chrystal meths drugs" and she said "Well just don't expect me to watch it!"

We are now both in the middle of watching it right through for the second time !! and in the evenings she says, "Are we cooking tonight ?"
mata hati; I hadn't heard of 'Better Called Saul' and rushed to Amazon to buy the DVDs, but it appears not to have been released yet (Nov. 9th).
So how have you seen it, are you in the US?
There is a good review of it from The New Yorker.
Its on Netfix ( or on extratorrent )
B00 - no, I don't have a crush on Stella :-) I love Crazy Eyes...

I keep meaning to watch Dexter.

I watched a few of Better Call Saul but decided to give it a longer break between the two.
Khandro....Netflix does a free 1 months trial and it's really simple to cancel after the month. If you decide to keep it it's £6 per month.
Did the whole BB as a marathon, even got Red a Breaking Bad coffee mug, but I recommend the Blacklist starring James Spader (I started to find him unnervingly attractive) so much black humour in both seasons can't wait for season three. Also Justified.... Timothy Olyphant is eye candy but so many awful characters, season six is out now and we will be getting it soon, another marathon with junk food in the offing. Finally Fargo just loved Billy Bob Thornton and after Martin Freemans role you won't think of Bilbo Baggins in the same light.
Breaking Bad is some of the best television drama ever in my humble opinion.
I was also a latecomer to BB and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have watched a few episodes of Lets Call Saul, but found it a bit boring, maybe I'll give it another go. Several people have recommended Orange is the New Black, so maybe I'll give that a go next.
Tizzi - Orange is the new black is really good.

I'm currently watching The Good Wife and Dexster.
Thanks ummmm, I've watched a lot of the Good Wife and loved Dexter, although I didn't see it right to the end - really good.
I'm doing marathon viewing. I've messaged my boss and said I'm not coming in today :-)

(I'm flexi hours...I don't really need to be in)
Good for you ummmm - enjoy!
Watch "better call Saul" it is a spin off show following the character Saul Goodman. It is a slow burner but more than worth a watch.
