zzzzzzzzzzzz thank you to my washing machine and my lawn mower
Buttock clenching.
thats why I never watch them
Jonathon Ross.....Obscene, Opinonated and Overpaid.

Ron.
lots of so called overpaid actors ( stars ) as they like to be called, trying to keep up with their own egos, as they know they are on TV, IMO!!!!!
All of these ceremonies are just adverts for the industry. If none of the media paid them any attention they would soon disappear.
I did like watching Helen Bonham Carter get one though (A BAFTA that is!) She's fabulous and as mad as a box of frogs.
I think HBC is ace - as an actress and as a person. I bet her and Tim Burton's household is chaotic, eccentric but very joyful. She has not acted in a bad film yet - I've loved her since that Merchant Ivory thingy, was it Room With A View.

Her speech rambled on & on.... far more interesting than loads of tedious thank yous.
I read somewhere that their house is devided into his & her areas. His is all gothic horror, her's is all Cath Kidston shabby chic styly. Bet it's an experience going ot theirs for tea!
It was a bit tedious but Christopher Lee was a joy xx
Yeah I read that. What a brilliant idea! No arguments about style or decor, separate bedrooms and nests, but adjoining doors if company is so wished for. Nice.
Taking into account the fact that one is now required to call a female actress, 'an actor'.

So how come in these awards they have 'The Best Actress' Award, as well as 'The Best Actor' award?
