max branning the shuffler?

Has anyone noticed that wherever max branning is in eastenders it sounds like he is shuffling around on concrete? doesn't matter where he is, inside or out? Does noone have carpet in the east end? :)

yes i noticed it when he first appeared in EE it does my head in sounds like hes got dinkys on his shoes

It`s maybe his ugliness dripping on the floor. Why he is put in so many romantic scenes I don`t know.
