just found out i got my dream job (offer in principle!) am sooooooo excited i could pop! i have been trying to find a way out of my current job for a year after a transfer (not by choice) to a different ward in the hospital where i work now. i went from a great team and manager to lazy toads and a manager who can't find his @rse from his elbow.

this new job is in the private sector, lovely setting and a new challenge. plus loads more money. am so relieved i have cried my eyeballs out and feel so relieved. even the fact that i have to get a motorbike and pass my cbt to commute isn't fazing me.

i also got a new kitten yesterday who is so cute and 8 weeks old...need some help in naming her, though. she is a tabby lady and very sweet.

i just thought i'd share some great news with you guys for a change as you've been supportive of me in the past and wish you all loveliness as well...x

Have you a pic of your new kitten, maybe we could suggest some names?
I still like Tilly - Tinkerbell's a bit long if you're calling her in for dinner!
defo tinkerbell lol!! xxxx well done xxx
Well done on the job, and the new kitten
Yep! tilly is nice
Well done stonekicker, hooray!
My cat name tip is think of something with two syllables that won't embarrass you to call up the garden (unlike my friend whose dog was called Dickie)..... I like a simple name for my cats, like Hettie or Pattie, something that will suit the cat when she grows up too.
Hope it all works out for you stonekicker, and the new kitty as well. It's good to have a real change in life sometimes.

thanks people! i wish all of you the best too. the kitty is so sweet - just keeps roaring around the house until she runs out of steam and collapses in a heap!!!! she's so small and gangly i just want to eat her up. i now have three surrogate babies to love and look after...x
Congratulations, hope it all works out for you.

I used to have a long haired tabby with a hint of torty and I called her Nushka (Nushi for short) as I felt she had a russian feel to her... fairly random but I liked it!
Ahem... ^^^ That's actually me... snags hates cats lol... whoopsie!
