Did anyone catch last night's episode......it was absolutely brilliant.
They got overwhelmingly stuffed with all 4 eggheads losing and CJ threw his teddy out of the pram.....classic.!!

dammit I alwways miss the ones where they lose - would have loved to see CJ looking a bit less smug!

Kevin was very good Zacs........admitted they'd been trounced but CJ was very bad.....

Yes It was good, actually all the Eggheads lost as Chris was left on his own and lost!
The winning team were great, a change from all the other mediocre teams who appear. I thought Chris might have pulled them through but not to be. On one other episode Barry was left on his own and they won.
I bet they had a heated discussion afterwards!!

so when the eggs lose, what does Vine/Murnahan say instead of the usual blather about "Eggheads reigning supreme over quizland" "Doing what comes naturally", "Who will beat you?"

I can't remember what he said but Kevin reckoned the other team, I think they were called the Caracaturists, were the best team they had ever met. I think they only got 2, maybe 3, answers wrong....

well with this episode kevin gave a little speech commenting on it being the most comprehensive defeat they've ever had and jeremy said - you've proved they can be beaten, see if a new team can be just as successful

Just saw it on iplayer - brilliant result. CJ and Daphne are insufferable even on a good day but I agree Kevin was very gracious about losing. However, the cartoonist in orange shirt (Martin?) was just a tad arrogant, wasn't he?
