Film star Demi Moore is to fly in from the US to support Susan Boyle in the final of Britain's Got Talent.
Judge Simon Cowell offered the Hollywood actress and her husband Ashton Kutcher first class air tickets for the ITV programme on Saturday.
What I don't understand is what is meant by 'support her' - Demi Moore is not a singer to my knowledge, (and even if she was, would not be the first person I would think of as a backing singer) so do they mean emotional support as they feel that Demi Moore (with her lifestyle) is best placed to understand Susan Boyle?

The whole show is a just a blatantly over hyped and predictable piece of television, that modern audiences have become accustomed to.
Much better to revert back to the days of Hughie Green but rename it the Simon Cowell talent show.
At least in those days, it did produce some memorable variety stars, rather than the endless bunch of faceless singers and dancers that Simon seems to prefer.

I'm slightly ahead of you Vic, I figured that if you knew what a supporter is, you could then work out what is meant by 'support her' as the question said.
I doubt if Demi will be doing an act, or dancing in the background or anything, so she's probably just going to be clapping and cheering, stuff like that, with perhaps the odd 'woohoo' thrown in here and there.

I think they just want to laugh at this poor woman - or is Demi Moore's film career drying up?
Simon Cowell is a prize prat - he loves a bit of celebrity attention. If I was you Simon - I would get myself a decent hair cut, one that does'nt make you look like a loo brush and cover up that tanned, pumped up chest with a nice shirt and tie, instead of wasting money flying in "celebs" - who can well afford their own tickets.
