Does anyone know where in the UK I can buy the Bob Hope DVD "The Princess & The Pirate"? Region 2 - PAL.

Hello Chinadog, Sorry but I forgot to mention that I had contacted Amazon to no avail. The Bob Hope DVD's available (except The Princess and the Pirate) were Region 1. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Why not get a R1 disc and try it? Many players now play all regions (even if they aren't advertised as such) and unless you have an ancient TV it will likely handle NTSC. If the player won't cooperate, most can be hacked easily or you could get a �10-�20 player that will play R1.

Hello LeMarchand, That's a very interesting point. As it is a gift for someone, I'll make discreet enquiries to find out about their set-up. I know that they have a new digital TV but am not sure about the DVD player(s). I think they have two - one a player and the other a recorder. I'll let you know the result.
