I've just watched this again after 30 years and I cant believe what a truly mind numbingly boring film it is, 30 years ago I thought it was terrific, strange how time alters the perception

I've watched this over and over again and still pick up something new each time so complex are all the plots. Sorry Kev1 but this gets my vote as probably the best film ever made.

Personally I'd say 3 is better but recently seen them all again . Surprised me that they were as good as I'd remembered .

Sorry kev but I think 1 and 2 were great, I thought 3 was not up to par with the others but still enjoyed it.

I'm like that with close encounters of the third kind and 2001 a space odyssey. When I first saw them I thought they were fantastic, but the last time I saw them I just could not believe I even thought they were good, let alone great. Total rubbish both of them.
