can anyone tell me what is the name of the song that starts in the film "Top Gun" where Hollywood is shot down and Maverick is lanched on alert 5, its the music in the background and it on for about 2 minutes, thanks

dont know the scene but kenny loggins song - dangerzone is in it - could be that

it could be the topgun theme tune which is just an instrumental and it plays a few times throughout the film.

A good source would be to buy the soundtrack. Or maybe just look at the track listings on Amazon... Hang on I'll do it for you.. yep - it is Kenny Loggins Dangerzone as already discussed.
