My thoughts exactly -

All the build up hype . . . .

A two minute filmed introduction . . .

Then she appears on stage and mimes to one song . . .

A 20-second interview by Dermot . . .

And she was gone.

Total rubbish.
I absolutely agree, and I also noticed that she wasn't there during rehearsals like other stars have been but then it would be a bit rich her giving advice!

My OH keeps bellowing down my ear i should have added she was utter rubbish so here it is, i've made him happy.
I cant stand the sychopantic way they act for someone who mimed -very badly-through her 'act.Got a standing ovation -for what??? Then proceeded to come out with the usual crud-'I just love being in London' -erm that was not what Dermot asked you.

She was a disgrace and the real life live acts put her to shame.
She was absolute rubbish, cringeworthy! She didn't "mentor" the contestants or obviously didn't meet them but as mentioned she is not fit to advise anyone! She isn't even fit to be a mother!! Where are here kids, did her ex husband get custody I hope so!!!
Agree madabout - absolute rubbish. Wonder how much she was paid for, as other posters have said, miming a
dreadful song.
I hated the way the judges all stood up, cringemaking.
whatever she was paid, I'll match it to the charity of Simon Cowell's choice if she sang one breath of that live on the show last night.

Just be glad you haven't bought tickets for one of her 'concerts' - she does the same.
Dont usually post on this bit, but WHY did they pander to this overblown ego - the show doesnt need them. ITV should have told her and her crew to sling their hook - it was an embarrassment
It was just so embarrassing!!! Totally cringeworthy.
Give her a break ffs. She's recovering from a period of near as damn it mental illness. Good luck to her.
Womaniser, womaniser, womaniser, womaniser - repeat (mime) to fade.

Do you think people were afraid to tell her when she asked "Does my bum look big in this?"
I think she looked good, better than what I thought she would, although she should have had longer hot pants on and boots that fitted her! But wasn't impressed she was miming and when Dermot asked her questions regarding the x factor contestants she didn't really answer what she was being asked. But good on her for making the appearance though.

Saw an interview on breakfast show with heat mag editor(i think) and he was saying she didnt spend any time with the x factor contestants and didnt even watch the show, thats not a good role model to the younger contestants, yes ludwig she did go through a bad period that very nearly destroyed her and she will be contstantly under the watchful gaze of the press, but they gave her appearance so much hype and she didnt even sing live, bad crack in my opinion.
She couldn't give any advice to the contestants because there wasn't a lip-sync tape available with that format....
I believe she learned her craft from the boys in Milli Vanilli.
