Hi, I'm racking my brains trying to remember a sitcom from the 80s/90s (??) - I'm sure it was on Channel 4, half-hour, based on a young(ish), single woman living in a flat (above a cafe?) - centred around her + best friend, always looking for 'Mr Right' - other characters included her mother who was divorced, with an Italian boyfriend - I think the opening credits showed a wee snippet of her eying up a potential 'boyfriend' in the glass door of the cafe but, as he entered, you caught sight of the baby in his backpack? Or, am I just imagining this??

Ooooh, cheers Ethel . . . that's the one!! I'm sure Beatie Edney played the headmistress in The Bill last night and tonight and it put me in mind of this programme.

I don't think that was Beatie Edney in The Bill although the woman playing the headmistress does look familiar.
Anyone remember Dream Stuffing?

I suspect I was the only person, apart from the casts' mothers, that watched it
