I'm looking for an old comedy sketch. I think it's black & white and it goes something like this........

.....two old men are at a quiet or dull party talking, they get to the end of their script and say something to do with the fact that it wasn't funny or the party is boring - i can't remember really, but anway, they decide to go through the script again but backwards. Not speaking backwards but reading the script backwards - line by line they do it again speaking normally but starting with the last line first......then the conversation is really funny!

It was on one of those top comedy sketches ever programme. Does anyone know the one i mean?

Not sure if its either of those ... i googled both with the word backwards in the search but nothing came up ... anyway its my son who wants the information so i've sent your suggestions ... thank you
It sounds like the "Two Ronnies" to me as well
It is the 2 Ronnies, so it's not in B&W unless you need a new telly. Wait a bit and BBC3 or TV Gold will show it, they always seem to be on!
I'm 99% certain it was Kenny Everett and Willy Rushton. I think I remember it being shown in a tribute to Kenny shown a little while ago.
