recording sky on video

When i record sky on the video recorder , sometimes when watching what i recorded on the video the picture just goes blank but the sound is still there. What is wrong ? Does it happen to you?

If this only happens occasionally, it could be encypted to stop you recording it.

What sort of programmes have been affected?

if you are recording on a video, check the scart leads are fully attached, as i have had exactly that problem and it was just a loose connection.
