Anyone else remember 'The Boy From Space'. It was a 70's schools TV programme and scared me sensless. There was a boy from space and another spaceman who kept turning up. They wore light blue uniforms with silver boots. And it was set on earth. I was scared still by this. Anyone know what it was actually about, and why it was shown as part of the school TV.

I've got cold shivers just looking at the photos. That programme WAS child abuse. Thanks Tracy H
I remember this. If I recall, you had books that you read along with the story on the TV. I guess it was to boot reading skills. I was talking to may partner about this the otther day and we both remembered being PETRIFIED when we first saw Peep-peep. Look and Read had a few scary stories - I remember fairgroud, dark towers and sky hunter all giving me a chill.
I was scared by metal mickey as a child, still am actually!
anyone else remember dark towers which was in the same vein as this - the read along books and shown as school tv?
I do believe the book/story was by the writer 'Terry Nation' who created the Daleks and Blakes 7.
The Boy From Space was written by Richard Carpenter. I recently aquired the whole series on VHS and it's like stepping back in time when you watch it.
