I've noticed that ITV have started series 3 of Supernatural but did they ever finish showing series 2?

the last episode of the 2nd series was when they opened the hell gate and let all the demons out, they also killed the yellow eyed demon in that episode

Didn't see that one, saw all of the 1st series and I am pretty sure that they pulled it half way through the 2nd for some reason

strangely, we were just saying that about irish channel tv3. We watch Spernatural religiously on there, and I'm sure they never finished series 2. Unless there was a break of a long period?
