At only 32, isnt Martine McCutcheon a bit young to be the mother of two big teenagers?

She`s playing a 42 year old in it.

I wondered why they were dressing her in frumpy clothes they obviously think that will make her look older. She has put on rather a lot of weight though or have they padded her out?

didnt see it but didnt the guy in the other programme say that she looks like tiffany from eastenders ie thats why its martine?

They could have made her another ex-soap star, but a bit older.

Don't forget that Echo Beach is a episode of of Moving Wallpaper and it is supposed to take the mickey out of soaps.

Not that I've been paying any attention to either show (ITV brings me out in a rash), but I thought the idea was that Echo Beach was a serious drama, while Moving Wallpaper was a comedy about the making of it. Very strange set-up.

As for Martine McCutcheon being the mother of teenagers at 32 (she's actually 31 until May), don't forget she is from Hackney. That's all I'm saying. ;-)
