anyone else a fan of these movies? i just watched them this week and love both of them (remake of house of wax that is).
plus i have to say that True Romance has one of the best fight scene's ever in it - James Gandolfini's (?) character & Patricia Arquettes character! that was disturbing yet brilliant.

The house of wax isn't all that bad for a teen horror flick. Bit gross when they pick the wax off that guy and he is still alive.

Who doesn;t love True Romance, everything about it is great. The scene between Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper is the absolute dog's bollox in that film but I also like Clarenence's little chats with Elvis.

As for great violence scenes, I like the scene in the cafe in L4yer Cake with Duran Duran playing in the background. That is bizarrely brilliant.

True Romance - that's so cooool. Bloody great effort, fantastic cast and so painfully under-rated.

House of Wax. Ahem, yes. Best leave that I think.
True Romance is one of my all time faves. I bought it on video when it first came out, I think I was about 15 at the time (I looked old for my age!!).

I agree with Whickerman - very underrated.

I also agree with Missjef about the fight scene - disturbing, but somehow cool!!

How weird is that, I am writing this with This Morning on telly and who is on it this morning? None other than Christian Slater!!
True Romance is in a different league to House of Wax. House of Wax sucks
