Does anyone else think that Violet is being a comlete cow to Sean over the baby? They should have had the conversation about whether he is the father or just a donor before she got pregnant.

I think the way that the storyline is going is wrong, more than a year ago violet and shaun made a pact about having a child, I don;t think back then it was about him being a donor it was because they were very close and now the script writers are moving the goalposts, as usual. The original idea they had was that they felt they would have the best of each of them in their child, this was along time before the actual plan to have the baby.

Exactly my point. The thing is that unmarried fathers don't seem to have any rights in the child.I was at the eye hospital with my daughters a few months ago and there was a sign up saying something like if the father of the child wasn't married to the mother at the time of birth or didn't have legal documents assigning him rights in the child then he couldn't sign for any treatment.I presume that extends to other areas. But reponsibility for the child would be enforced.
Does Sean expect Violet to stay single whilst he shacks up with his partner...........I know.....its not real. She would meet someone one day, and Sean would have this problem at sometime.
I agree with pussnboots, I think Sean's the one being selfish, expecting Violets life not to move on with any man while she's pregnant and after she's had the baby. They did talk beforehand where they agreed that he would just be the donor.

It is true what you say about unmarried fathers though marwel7, unfortunately unless the courts have been involved in some way, whether it be with maintenance or visitation, they're not recognised properly legally.
