Can't understand why people go on this programme if they can't take the critisimn and even have the cheek to go on gmtv this morning and miscall the judges. The girl on This Morning TV certainly couldn't sing. Does she think someone might spot her and give her a record contract.I don't think so.

I agree with you too! but why does GMTV give the silly twaddle air space in the first place. They must run out of things to put on in the morning. They had one the other day who was pregnant and half the top of her body was out of her arm sleeve, it was disgusting, especiallly whilst eating my porridge!
I saw a bit of it on Saturday, namely the girl who's dad made her dress.

Were they real? lol
the girl on saturday who had the dress made rev???..................... how/why do these people exist??????
Agent thats the one I meant lol

Her mum was an authority on singing because she had "been in a choir"

I think I found the chemist more alarming lol
yeh!!!.............. 50k and he couldnt hold a note!!! idiot!
by the same token these people have to go through a lot of rounds and judging before they get as far as the "main" judges so why do they put them through those rounds, because they know people will watch it if they have rubbish singers on and not just the good ones and obviously get peoples hopes up but cause them humiliation in the process
I know that people get put in front of judges because they are either good or bad but do the bad ones honestly think they are any good?

they must do, just think its terrible that they are put in front of the judges for the nations titilation
But they must be mental lol
honestly some people are dilusional about their own ability, but i do agree that it makes good TV when these folk go on to make fools of themselves!!!

Agree with you all and yes AGENT-SMITH it is as good as watching a bad comedy.
Well I started watching for the first time a few weeks ago when I heard that some totally deluded woman from Wales had a right go at the judges. I must say I'm amazed at how entertaining it is, I usually avoid reality TV. Loved Cowel with the large lady in the dress her dad made when her mum said she's won prizes for singing. "Well you could win a rosette in a donkey derby but you wouldn't stand a chance in the grand national"! classic.

Yes Loosehead you are right .Most people that go on the show just don't like being told the truth and that is exactly what Simon tells them.
so what sort of people does cowell employ if they let people with out talent on?
Simon was right when he said that the parents were to blame for their daughter being so disappointed, they`ve filled her head with rubbish telling her what a great voice she had when its obvious she hasn`t.
I think reverendfunk may have (albeit unintentionally) hit the nail on the head when he asked " were they real " , I'm beginning to think that some of these acts are plants. That family with the Dad who made the dress are a prime example but there are many others who seem ' shocked ' when told they're rubbish and begin shouting , crying or just acting up. They can't ALL be delusional. I mean doesn't it occur to them to tape their voices and listen to it?

I'm sure all that Louis Walsh has been sacked / Louis Walsh is coming back stuff was a set-up to hoik up the ratings and I'm beginning to believe that some of the auditionees are the same.

We have all been taken for a ride.

The "family" are actually French and Saunders and the two guys from Little Britain wearing those "fat suits" that make people look really fat.

The make up is so good you hardly notice.

You see, it will all come out soon and be on Comic Relief.
vhg.............pmsl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
X-Factor producers have to balance the appeal of the auditions process between seeing people who genuinely have real talent, and people who are utterly without merit, but think they are - which makes good TV.

Too much of either would simply be tedious, so they carefully edit a mix of both, to make the show borth entertaining, uplifting, inspirational, side-splittingly hilarious, tragic, and self-righteous - all in one episode.

If you can combine all of those in one hour of entertainment, youhave a TV hit - which x-Factor obviously is.
Well said AH.
