What is the genre's of music that annie nightingale plays on her show on radio 1? It's got a strange name and it's band's like slipknot etc.

Slipknot, is just heavy metal. You can call it nu metal or rapcore but its just metal. Not even particularly thrashy. My mum doesnt refer to it as devil music so it cant be that bad./

The only one I can think of is Annie Mac and she plays more stuff I never listen to. I cant imagine her doing it either.

Sure it's not Mary-Anne Hobbs? She used to do the Rockshow on a Tuesday night which played the likes of Slipkot. Not listened to her in ages though as I'm more into a bit of electro these days.
