Having no experience of these, what are they like and do they work, we are having difficulty keeping up with the lawn and I would be happy to go out and cut it more often if the petrol mower didn't make me feel like it was going to eat me. There is also a bit of a hill at the back and noisey people watch me pushing the bloody lawn mower up the hill by hand (because the powered/auto roller function has broken) pulling my pants up as I go. The weight is the main problem.

So well I have seen these pure manual ones no electic or petrol to go out and buy just push, it won't even eat me. You just pust it around and you can put a grass collector on the back. The ones in Argos seem cheap around 40 I do not know whether they are good or not and whether in general they are good or whether the expensive ones are better.

Any thoughts and/or recommendations
Thanks in advance

I have a petrol mower, and use it only for the first cut, or if the grass gets too long, the rest of the time I use a push mower, without the grassbox, it gives a good cut, and a bit of exercise to boot,
I have a large garden, but enjoy using it.

Personally, i'd say go for it, they're not expensive, and its just a question of getting used to it,
Forgot to mention, mine is a Qualcast.

Thanks for that, yes I was thinking about using the petrol mower if it gets long but the rest of the time using the push one.

Thanks for telling me you experience, and the model/make of yours!

Thanks for the help
