At tis exact moment it's 'Here comes my baby' by Cat Stevens but by 12.23 that will have changed.
'Surf City' Jan & Dean 1963 (Two girls for every boyyyy...)
'I Think We're Alone Now' The Rubinoos version 1977
'I Want You to Want Me' Cheap Trick 1977
[3 chosen at random from hundreds of favourite records]
My list is endless but Get It On by T.Rex was playing on the radio when I had my first proper snog with my first ever boyfriend. Another favourite is You've Got a Friend by James Taylor as that record was on the stereo the first time we....ahem...did more than snog.
They say you never forget your first love. This guy was a dead ringer for the lead singer of the Doors and was gorgeous. I hadn't seen him since 1972 and we met at a school reunion last year. He is now fat, bald, has no teeth, has profuse nasal & ear hair and also has the personality of a dead spider. (Did I mention the B.O.?)
