What happened in the programme about Diana Dors' son trying to crack a code supposedly leading to her stashed millions?

In short, her son enlisted the help of code-breakers who cracked the code. The de-coded message was a list of surnames and cities. Unfortunately, her son could not find the other "black book", which was given to her other son ( who had thrown out, or sold at auction, Dors' belongings ). This other book is thought to contain a list of 1st names and banks in the aforementioned cities where the money is supposedly located. Therefore the son returned to America empty handed, but vowed to return to claim his rightful inheritance one day...

The black book was actually given to her husband who then killed himself, never knowing the significance of it, then her stuff was all auctioned off and bought by a mad fanatic
