Help please! As I was away from home on Tuesday night, I taped both episodes and used VideoPlus. I have had a quick look at the end of the recording, and it seems as though it has been cut short - but I don't know how much! I don't want to sit through 4 hours and not know what happened. The last thing on the tape was a man and a woman next to a car talking to each other. The man walks away and says something like 'I'll see you in court' to the woman. Have I missed much? Thanks for any advice on this.

Sounds like you missed nowt! Thats how it ended with the DCI not being able to prove that the other policeman stole some of the money. The other important thing was that he was made head of the murder squad...but yep that was pretty much the last scene - pretty bad ending really...
