... past or present , evokes a certain feeling inside you , every time you hear it - you know - a certain ' Je Ne Sais Quoi '
Do you know what I mean ?

One that really evokes the afoementioned feeling is the theme tune from the Persuaders , Starring Roger Moore and Tony Curtis - from the very first time I heard it , years ago untill now . I think it is something to do with the theme of the story lines and also the setting .... i dont know

Bergerac - very Eighties, very Sunday evening. Not necessariky a good thing, as I spent many Sunday evenings in the eighties dreading having to go to school on a Monday morning.

Much like Littleoldme I'd go with Bergerac, Poirot and Miss Marple, hell even Howards Way.
They used to be shown on Sunday evenings so their themes always take me back to when I was a kid and that feeling of 'Oh no, school in the morning'.
Quite disturbing actually.

The original 'Doctor Who' theme, and as I always say, AB'ers of a certain age will start hearing the theme in their minds when they read -

'Robinson Crusoe'.

All together now - dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-daaaaah ...and so on.

If you don't know, you are under thirty!
White Horses theme tune. Reminds me of watching kids TV when I was little.

Can't remember the theme tunes but used to watch Belle and Sabastian and The Flashing Blade too - I think they were all dubbed!!
Theme tune to end all theme tunes - The Archers! Recently rediscovered it whilst driving in the car, and it reminds me of staying with grandma and sleeping in her big bed with the feather mattress.
