Despite 5 years working in the trainer business, the yellow trainers Fed wore on big brother had no logo and appeared to be designer specials rather than proper sports shoes. Someone must recognise them?

not certain, but my friend has a pair of very similar yellow shoes. I think they are Gola's. You should find something similar in somewhere like Schuh or Topman. The gola's are available in a big range of colours, but since autumn stock is coming into the shops now, yu may struggle to get them

Good one, they did seem a bit flash for Golas, but I am more interested in the style than the brand, so I'll check it out. Never heard of Schuh but I'll see if I can find one. Thanks, David
