There was some beautiful music on x-factor last night, during the bits where Sharon was on with her lot - a kind of slow guitar music - anyone know what it was? Thanks!

Thanks everyone. Have listened to the Mogwai track and my taped x-factor and its not the one! The music in x-factor is more piano (not Craig Armstrong) no drum beat that I can hear. Oh well guess I will never know!!!
Didn't hear any Craig Armstrong this week.

Try describing it a little more. It started as guitar music and then became piano!

ha ha, well before listening to it again it thought it was guitar! Very hard to describe, was slow, echoey, atmospheric with piano.

Wow, thank you everyone!! Hmmm I reckon it could be Mark Isham Flames, but I can't quite tell from the small clip on ITunes and it won't let me buy the song!!!! Guess I am destined not to really find out!!
