TV, Sport & music related but I'll try here first!

The signature tune for BBC Gymnastics was/is a really nice classical piece. Any ideas what it is? Haven't a clue if they still use it as it's from the 80s/early 90s when I liked the music.

Hi there. I think it was a piece by James Last called "mornings at 7" and played by his orchestra.
Hope that helps.
Me again. Actually, that sig tune could've been from the BBC's ice skating proggie. Can't quite remember now. Sorry, i've probably confused you even more now :-)

Cheers, I'll check it out and see if it's the one. The piece I can remember doesn't sound like a James Last piece but you never know.

Ah, just looked that piece up and it isn't the one I'm after. Oh well thanks anyway.
Yes, I am trying to find out what this piece of music is too. The track Mornings at Seven by James Last was used, but it is not the same piece of music I am enquiring about.
