I was watching Cold Case on Sky3 tonight not having seen it for a few weeks.

In tonights episode "Start up", Scotty ( the young dark haired detective) is trying to find out what happened to someone he has a picture of and some letters from.

Can anyone tell me who she is and why is he trying to find her please?
