It was indeed in White Christmas (well, obviously!) but it FIRST appeared in Holiday Inn.

White Christmas was a remake of Holiday Inn. The latter was filmed in 1942, while the former (White Christmas)was released in 1954. It also starred Bing Crosby, as did Holiday Inn, and both contained the classic Irving Berlin song...
