I asked the above question a while ago, hope it helps :-)

(glad I'm not the only one who watches it!)

Watched 5mins of this, this afternoon for the first time. Couldn't take my eyes off the mullet! Unintentionally very funny. He's so macho I bet he has concrete for breakfast.

Yes "The Dog" is real. And yes thats Ozzy doing the theme to the show. Check out his website:

You can get links to there Bail Bond company (Da Kine Bail Bonds) and everything. Not sure about the claim that he has captured over 6,000 cons in the last 20 years.

Oh and they sould start letting Bounty Hunters work in the UK as they say they cost the Tax Payer nothing and they account for 30-40,000 arrests a year in the US

is there alot of money to be made in that game?

If your just picking up some one on a revoked Bail Bond then the Bounty Hunter takes 10% of what the Bond was. Say some one posted bail for 15,000 and failed to turn up at court then the Bounty Hunter gets 10% or 1,500 if they capture that person. I think the way Dog works is that he has a Bail Bond firm so people borrow money off him to post bail and pay it back with interest. Then if some one jumps bail he tracks them down as a bounty hunter so he doesn't have to pay anyone else the 10% of the bond and gets his money back from the person who jumps bail. I think thats how it works....not 100% sure.

kev,

what is the badge that they where? it looks like a police badge is it.....?

No...it's to show that they are a registerd Bail Enforcement Agent. They have some of the powers that the police do but if the police want to step in on a bust then the Bounty Hunters have to back off. They also have the same sort of powers as a bailiff.
