This is a VERY long short. In Brookside Sheila and Maria had a stand up argument on the close which resulted in a MASSIVE slanging match on the close. It started with Maria going round to Sheila Grant's to slag off Barry.

Does anyone know where a clip or the text of this is available??

Long shot I know, but I'd love to see/read it.

Maria was the sister of Petra, who originally owned the 'Corkhills' house. Petra's husband died and Petra went missing. Maria Jackson, who moved into the house with her family, was married to George Jackson who was a fireman and wrongly imprisoned for his alleged part in a robbery.

don't know if it may help your search but her name was actually marie, not maria, played by anna keaveney.
