Does anyone remember a horror film where a girl could control insects? It was about 20 years ago (I was very young) I seem to remember the villian in it getting her head chopped off at the end after the girl sent a swarm of insects to attack her.

I think so. Didn't it have Iron Maiden's 'The Flash of the Blade' on the soundtrack, and a chimp with a switchblade in it? Oh, and Donald Pleasance..?

Yes! It's called 'Phenomena' apparently. I definitely recall it being titled 'Creepers' (though IMDb suggests that was the US title, not the UK title) when I got it out of the local video shop.
