... is to star as a drug dealer in 'Pushers', a new Channel 4 comedy.

Will you be watching?  It will be a very definite 'no' from me.  Can't stand the woman.

Because you don't thinks she's funny or because of her disability?

Wow, incisive question. 🙄

Omg I won't be watching that then.

And because I don't find her funny in the slightest.

No disrepect to the lass infact good on her, but a big miss from me I don't find her funny at all either.

Drmorgans, because the racket she makes is an assault on the senses. Loud, brash - my ears just can't take it.

Fair enough. I don't find her funny either. Just puzzled why you announced you wouldn't be watching a particular TV comedy having not seen it yet.

I will give it a go, I've heard her talk at length in a serious debate without screeching. Sitcom is very different from standup and Rosie is not the only writer.

First screech and I'll turn it off.

Aye, it's a funny thing comedy.

No I won't because apart from not being funny I don't understand everything she says and the way other 'celebrities' laugh along with her, almost certainly just for show,  is so PC it's nauseating. She has also been cast in the next Star Wars movie.

I'm not sure if that's how drmorgans meant it but whenever she is discussed if one doesn't like her or find her funny then it's automatically assumed you are discriminating against her disability. I wonder how far she would have got in stand-up etc if she didn't have it.

She's as funny as toothache

If she had a twin, with similar comedic talents, but not disabled then we would have a control group. But I don't think she does.

Prudie: She has also been cast in the next Star Wars movie.

As what! 😉

More upchucking:

"

Known for her razor-sharp wit, Jones will take on a brand-new character created specifically for the expanding galaxy — a cunning non binary smuggler with a mysterious past named Vexa Trall.

Fans and industry insiders alike are applauding the casting as a bold and inclusive choice, reflecting Star Wars’ ongoing commitment to diverse storytelling."

only in a Galaxy far far away...

Clive Russell is in it, I like him.  He was great in Ripper St and Still Game

Looks like everything in the garden's Rosie.

Some film scenes may not make the final edit though.

I don't understand how she gets on the TV. It's just excrutiating to watch.

I can watch her when she's having a proper conversation, she can talk very sensibly about the subjects she is interested in.  I can understand her easily when she isn't screeching

Rosie has a very sharp brain and sense of humour. What I cannot get over with her is no fault of her own.  I just cannot easily follow her lines of delivery.  Too hard on my ears.
