I find her inclusion to be based on wokeism first, and talent second.

If people want to wait a buttock-clenching length of time for a disabled comedian to hit a punch line because they want to push their inclusiveness credentials, crack on. But when the punch line isn't funny, they become a disabled person, which is not the same as a disabled comedian.

Again the Woke commissioners have had their fingers burned by giving Chris McCauseland a chat show, which crashed and burned. 

Being blind and dancing does not automatically make you a chat show host.

Disability is not a free pass to success in any field,  and that includes entertaining people on television.

Rosie Jones is a famous 'comedian' because of her disability rather than despite it. She is so unfunny that if she didn't have her disability she'd struggle to get a pub gig on a Monday lunchtime.

Barry, I agree entirely, but stand-up and panel appearances are very different from hosting a chat show.

Being able to slap a coat of emulsion on a wall doesn't mean you can deliver a Sistine Chapel, just because both are done by painters.
