I'm sure his death is extremely sad to his family and friends. But, knowing nothing about him, can't say I care. It's the usual rubbish: man, or woman, appears on some dreadful TV show and when they meet misfortune we are somehow supposed to grieve.

Although I didn't watch it I remember him for trying to sing a Britney Spears song on Pop Idol or Stars or whatever it was called. I saw clips of it.

I remember him doing Pop Star to Opera Star. He was very good. I think he won it.

I remember him very well as I used to watch this programme back in the day.
His rendition of 'Hit me baby one more time' was horrendous but it seems he went on to do quite well for himself.
Still, 41 is too young to die and so I will also say R.I.P Darrius.

Poor Darrius - singer, then actor, I thought he had made it. and being 70 myself, 41 seems young....

Pop idol was just a step in his career.

I liked him too - when he done that Britney Spears skit - I did believe he only did it for a laugh.
