Quiz shows, would you be a good candidate for Quiz Shows, extrovert, “before my time” etc. “that’s not my strongest subject” etc. Tipping Point, well done to your opponents when they’re raking in all the cash!

That expression 'before my time' really annoys me. I remember Richard Osman on Pointless once telling off a girl for saying that, I remember thinking 'good for him' ! Most quiz questions (and history) are 'before our time'.

I'd be rubbish on a quiz show - too nervous.

Unless it is something that allows thinking time - which the Chase, Tipping Point, etc., don't, I'd be rubbish. 'Before my time' is never an excuse. Most of history is before everyone's time.

I am pretty good on The Chase…. But only at home on the sofa. I would just clam up in a studio. All the contestants seem so relaxed though!
