Isn't Emma's boyfriend (John?) The most awful actor ever on Corrie? Really can't take him or the storyline seriously.

Emma really annoys me too, she's such a drip. Once again in soapland there is no mention of getting a visa- impossible in a couple of days - or how she is going to pay for it and the air fare on her wages.

I am glad Emma is going, I won't miss her ! I agree with Margo, she is a drip and all that angst she kept trying to portray was getting on my wick ! To make it more realistic she could have stayed behind for a short while to get everything sorted, but of course they don't do it like that in soaps.

And how come Craig who resigned from the police force, after working at Underworld, is suddenly on "garden leave" (whatever that is) and can just go back there? Is this a stupid thing too?

Kustard, when Craig handed his resignation in he was persuaded to take garden leave to give him a chance to reconsider. That is not so unusual in real life.
