I just watched this film this afternoon and thought what a great film it was. It wouldn’t be made now, but then, it was a great film.

I love all the Dirty Harry films, except Sudden Impact. We rewatch them quite often.
is it the first time you've seen it chrissa?
i watched true grit :)
I watched it when it came out and have seen it more thsna dozen times since.

It is a great film, posing some constant moral dilemmas that avoid it being dated.

Andy Robinson who played Scorpio found himself typecast for years after this film.

The boy in the final sequence was Robinson's son.
// It is a great film, posing some constant moral dilemmas that avoid it being dated.//

good example on AB of a statement made as gospel which is obviously untrue
dated by - the moral dilemmas - punk didja count? five shots or six..... clearly someone shouldnt be shot if they are not in danger

the colouring of credits and shots is dated

Guido Reni - Chico - is a racial typecast

The mayor says he will pay

The opposite to Andie's axiom ( still vibrant moral dilemmas ) is true - they make dilemmas of situations that arent, and take the wrong choices

and that boys and gurlz is why we watch - - because it cant be repeated
You did catch the thread of my argument
Andies axiom - still vibrant dilemmas that sface us still
is refuted by
events in the first five minutes of the film?
