morning everyone, i hope you are well and in good health, spirits, its a rather humid start to the day, but if today is anything like yesterday, which was beautiful, then that's great.
Busy day yesterday with one thing or another, so it's probably going to be lunch today in my local gardens.

sorted out my furniture dilemma now, though the goods won't come for another week or so, can't wait. I bought a beautiful extra tall vase in gold, which will have pride of place in the living room. And a hopefully matching pouffe seat for my sofa and chair, in burgundy. Once that's in place then there will be no more to add and the room will be complete. Once its done will invite my mate over for a drink to see what she thinks.

Yesterday was so hot according to the news our hottest day ever at 31.2.
Trying to keep the dogs cool yesterday was a challenge . Will take them for a swim this morning

Morning everyone a early one again on here for me. Glad you have got your furniture sorted now. Waiting a week for it to be delivered isn't too bad. Wish ours was coming that quick. The engineers called a couple of days ago to see if they could fit the new parts but we had to tell them they hadn't arrived yet.

i would say our top temp was around 25/27 so you are into the 30's, that's hot. I sat outside my local for an hour or so, and started to feel tired so came home, but it was lovely to chill out and not have to worry about anything.

i have a console table for the hall, being delivered fingers crossed on the 26th and an expert coming to assemble it for me. I didn't know if i could do it myself but paid the money to let someone else have the problem of putting it together.

i like this weather, we don't get this too often, so i am making the most of it.

I usually love the sun but with covid this time I can ony go out early in the morning to sit in the garden then yesterday I spent most of it in the spare bedroom as I need to stay away from from the others. Cough really got on my nerves yesterday.

do they know what's causing the cough, you said you have had this for years, is that right?

Unfortunately I love the sun but it doesn’t love me back my skin is too pale! Factor 50 even sitting under my giant shade

that is a shame RH, i just love it, I can sit in it as my skin takes to it, i usually go a light tan colour.

The cough now is mostly the covid one but because of covid they are only just starting to see patients again at our hospital. So far he keeps changing my meds to see if one of them is causing it and am waiting to have some scans but have been told that could take many more months.

There are many people worse off so can't complain. Been told it's nothing nasty like cancer so that's something.
