She thought corn cobs were the roots of the plant.

Surely a set-up just to get a laugh on the boring morning TV.

I see you have your old avatar back,Canary.A hybrid mixture of Bojo the Clown and Corbyn the Anti-semite.Last time i mentioned it you removed it.Will we be seeing the canary back again tomorrow?
Ynna, I know you never miss an opportunity to have a dig at Corbyn (albeit with some justification) but that is clearly Boris Pinocchio.
Nah,a mixture of both the eejits.Borises hair combined with Corbys beard and chin. The Pinocchio nose represents Bojos many lies(too many to mention)and Corbyns lies regarding his anti-semitism.
Beard??...what beard?
yes, that's just Boris and all the hair is on the top of his head.
oh help, I thought Canary's av had a beard too :-)))
now, about Holly...
Nah,jno,Canary never comes back to any of his questions anyway.Posts a question and then disappears into the ether.
I suspect Holly isn't the only one not to know how every plant grows.

Yes, I did wonder about whether I was expecting too much, but I would have thought corn cob was a well known one. Obviously not, I suppose we all have our "blind spots" in area of common knowledge.

I must confess that until recently I thought pineapples grew on a tree, so I owe Holly an apology perhaps ;-)
tch, you'll be saying that peanuts are nuts next...
You mean pineapples DONT grow on trees?
I think she practices the “part of ditzy blonde”. I’m sure she’s smart.
Im sure Holly was serious. I dont find it hard to believe as I dont expect her to have had any experience of growing corn cobs on an allotment or in her garden.
Got to be a set up.
