Gee. There’s football on BBC. 1. And BBC 2. And a little later on, there’s football highlights on ITV. I must have missed the original match on ITV. Blimey

Don't complain, Bobbie! It's keeping Dave quiet so I can watch rubbish and knit in peace... ;-)

Lol guess. Trouble is the rubbish is just that

Story Gness
Football?

Is there some type of footy competition being played then? I can't say that I'd noticed ;-)

The lack of play, due to rain, in the ICC World Test Championship final at the Hampshire Bowl is far more important to me. It's looking increasingly likely that there won't be a result now, with India and New Zealand being forced to share the trophy :(
yeah ,,, good innit
Yes, football on three channels...so how many channels does that leave with no football on? (People need to think beyond BBC and ITV).
"People need to think beyond BBC and ITV"

What? And pass up the opportunity to have a pointless whinge about absolutely nothing at all?
How they can settle a test championship with a single test anyway is beyond me.
Dear God!
Yes we know there are endless channels we can watch.
And no, Jim. We are not whinging....we're having the bit of harmless banter about football that we'd have if we'd escaped to the pub with our knitting if they were open.....I'm surprised that you of all people missed that...you don't usually miss a little humour...now others.... ;-)
There’s football on BBC1 and BBC2
And nowhere else just now (ie not ITV, Channel 4 or Channel 5)
Don’t forget Uruguay v Chile on the red button later ;-)
I'm sure you're right, Ichkeria.....those are channels I don't have though I have many football free ones should I choose. Bobbie and I were having some light banter..... :-)

Bobbie...Dave has just called me in to have a look at the Danish fans....what a lovely group of football fans....bit like the Irish.
And the following goal was fantastic.
Worth a look..... ;-)

Be nice to have something decent to watch Even though there are lots of channels. Anyway, I enjoy a good old moan.
Question Author
I do, however, support one ream
Question Author
One team, even
I guess Covid has made it difficult to make some of the programmes I'd usually watch, Bobbie...don't know what your taste is.
I'm missing The Great British Sewing Bee. Even if you aren't into sewing it was a super watch.
I found Gogglebox Ireland. Never been struck on the UK ones so I avoided the Irish one and came to it late but the humour is wonderful. Cheered up many a lockdown day.
What's your taste?
Long ago I used to support Shrewsbury, Bobbie but that was because the captain had the most fantastic legs..... :-)
Question Author
