I just cant see this GBNews being much of a success to be honest with you.Havent we got enough talking heads talking politics 24 hours a day already?Nah,i will give it a month, thereafter never to be seen again.
It's rare that I'm in 100% agreement with ynnafymmi, but I am on this.
Andrew Neil always wants to be the new Richard Dimbleby...no chance,Andrew...Dimbleby was a one-off,a charismatic newsman, whether intervewing statesmen or royalty or church leaders...whereas Neil is at his best interviewing ex-pop stars and the like...
Right enough. Neil can't hold a candle to Dimbleby.
@01.12.Thanks,but sorry to say this to you Jim,but the one good interview Neil did was where he tore Sturgeon to shreds and nearly drove her to tears.Did you watch the interview?I dont think Sturgeon has got over it yet...she must wake up in the middle of the night sweating about that grilling she got...
Of course I saw it, though I think you're over-egging it a tad.

Like I said, we're never likely to agree on anything political. You believe that your country is better off being ruled (N.B. that's ruled, not governed) by a bunch of idiots 400 miles away from your nation's capital that you didn't vote for, and who have no more interest in your country than that they can plunder from under its soil and off its coasts.

And I don't. I don't particularly care who delivers independence. But I firmly believe in it.
Yet again, she shoehorns in a wee anti-SNP/Sturgeon dig.
I have dipped in a few times and it seems to be very boring. Their by-election coverage tonight was poor.

"Yet again, she shoehorns in a wee anti-SNP/Sturgeon dig."

Like a stuck record!

But at least this time there was none of the usual insulting words and phrases..
Seen a few short segments of it. Seems cheap and amateurish to me. Are they only interested in UK news? I think it will go stale soon and lose viewers in the same way Greenland is losing ice
probably novelty value but The Times reports that GBnews was pulling in lots more viewers than BBC News24 & Sky News.

Not a big fan of TV news myself - anything deeper than the headlines I tend to read online.
Somebody might want to explain to GB News that Great Britain is the island that England, Wales and Scotland (excluding all the smaller islands) are situated on. Thus they are excluding Northern Ireland which is part of the United Kingdom but not part of Great Britain
