Anyone watch the BAFTAS
Thank goodness I recorded it, had to whizz past a lot. The host was most annoying, thought I watched a lot of TV haven’t heard of some of them shows. Awful show!

Gave it a few mins, Richard Ayoade appeared, immediately unfunny, switched off! Don't know what the programmes were being awarded as I couldn't watch anything with him in it. Mama Mia much better!

I didn't watch it but have just read the list of winners. Gutted Jimmy McGovern didn't win best daytime with Moving On.
Also very disappointed The Repair Shop lost out to Long Lost Family.

I watched it, the format was pretty much the same as all award shows though obviously the audience was sparse.

I didn't vote an also hadn't watched all that were nominated so no real complaints.

Why would I vote for a programme I've never watched? I wanted The Repair Shop to win and voted for that

Agree Inside No 9 is a worthy winner - very clever show.

Did they pick winners on merit or was there a tick list for diversity and subject matter?

Maybe because many of these dramas are on subscriber platforms like Netflix or Amazon Prime, Caribeing. There were some I'd never heard of but I've now added a few to my watch list.

I thought the voting was done by the public, Dave?

No, it's not the public that decides, it's the BAFTA panel of nine judges for each award.
The TV Choice Awards are decided by public vote

Biggest load of rubbish I have ever seen, so glad I recorded it. I must have only watched about 10 mins. in all with all the fast forwarding I did ! Literally never heard of most of them or the shows.

I didn't watch it, but read that some people were complaining that Barbara Windsor wasn't mentioned in the people we lost section. That seems a shame.

Two of the programmes I voted for won in their category. I didn't vote in any of the categories where I had never watched any of the shows - pointless. Even if you watched TV 24/7 it would be impossible to watch every show.
