Labour have the Hard left Unions, the Marxist Momentum mob, The woke North London centrics and the normal labour.
How on earth anyone can sort that out is beyond me. All will want the coveted labour banner, breaking away means a new party and that just doesnt seem to work in this country at the moment. Of course Bliar did have the excellent idea of New Labour. But that is now toxic too.

They came to power to fight for the working man. Unfortunately for them they were very successful and todays 'working man' tends to be well off, own cars and often their own homes - and crucially dont like paying tax.
So I think their real problem is where do they pitch and I think this is why we are seeing multiple factions under the labour banner, each pitching their own agenda (non of which appeals to the 'working man'). They are no longer a team in any sense, they need to remember united we win divided we fall. They are of course the latter.

Unfortunately for Labour - and fortunately for society - the working man is no longer the downtrodden grafter of the 1920s, 30s, and 40s. Labour doesn’t seem to have noticed that life has changed as have aspirations, ambitions, and expectations. I remember when Jeremy Corbyn first treated us to his pitch which was to ‘build factories’ to provide jobs without ever telling us what these factories would produce or how they were to compete in a world market whilst managing to pay the fantastic wages he promised. Labour needs to get its head around the fact that however much they yearn for the proven social disaster that is their brand of Socialism, they are not offering what the working man wants - and after yesterday’s performance they really shouldn’t find it too difficult … although they will. Labour is a dead duck.
